Mclusky
Shortly after graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, I joined the rock band Mclusky in mid 2003.
I toured the world for the next 18 months and recorded their third album ‘The Difference Between Me and You is That I’m Not on Fire’ in Electrical Audio in Chicago with Steve Albini. Mclusky have released four studio albums:
- My Pain and Sadness is More Sad and Painful Than Yours (Fuzzbox, 2000; Too Pure, 2003)
- Mclusky Do Dallas (Too Pure, 2002)
- The Difference Between Me and You Is That I’m Not on Fire (Too Pure, 2004)
- The World Is Still Here and So Are We (Ipecac Recordings, 2025)
After Mclusky disbanded in 2005, I started Future of the Left with former bandmate Andrew Falkous.
In 2019 Mclusky reformed for a few shows, we had loads of fun so decided to continue with the band.
Our release of ‘The world is still here and so are we’, in 2025 was the first for 21 years and has involved with multiple tours around the world in 2025/26.
